Armand van Helden war nie der Subtilste und verhedderte sich meistens in wirren und überknalligen Novelty-Konstrukten von fragwürdiger Substanz, doch zuweilen glückten ihm durchaus Geistesblitze. Als Mole People klaubte er sich die dubbige Deepness von Basic Channel und den langen Atem der Dramaturgie von Wild Pitch zusammen und ließ darunter sein Beat-Patent à la „Zulu“ und „Witch Doctor“ traben. Heraus kam ein hypnotischer Klassiker, der den Test der Zeit souverän absolvieren konnte. Pragmatiker der er ist, erkannte van Helden das Potential dieses Entwurfes und benutzte ihn, nur unwesentlich abgewandelt, kurz danach für einen Remix von Barbara Tuckers Garage-Evergreen „I Get Lifted“ bevor er sich dann doch endgültig für das Plakative entschied.
